My mum has just been diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer and we don't know yet what her prognosis will be (whether it's metastisised further than her lymph nodes)... it just feels so unfair, doesn't it? Our parents finally get their lives back after years of being our responsible parents and adults and this happens. My prayers are with your dad, I hope that he can have as fulfilling a life as possible with the time he has left. And ghastly as this sounds on a finance blog, don't worry about the money.
